Wednesday 13- Bloodwork (2008)

Bloodwork was meant to be preceded by one month by the Skeletons record. The initial release of this EP was a complete accident, which involved the file uploading client used by the band. Someone sent iTunes a file containing the Bloodwork EP mp3s instead of the full-length Skeletons album.  Instead of having the tracks removed, Bloodwork remained fully downloadable, however Skeletons iTunes release was delayed until mid-May. The band struggled to come to a conclusion as to whether the EP would receive a CD release or if it would stay download only for the time being.

When asked about the re-recording of  I Love to Say Fuck Wednesday 13 stated that many fans could not find this track, so he recorded it to make it once again easily available to the masses.

Personal View – Not the strongest of the Wednesday 13 recordings as how many times do you need to have the song I Love to Say Fuck. The strongest of the record is the Tom Petty remake of Runnin’ Down a Dream, his version is very heavy and almost punk. B-Movie Babylon is not a favorite of my but Return of the Living Dead is catchy enough that it would be a cool live tune.  the last bunch of tunes of the record are just remixes of the classics from Skeletons.
